Welcome all you new email readers!! The word has gotten around that my daily blogs are quite "witty" so I've added some excited people to the list.
Today was closing day of session 3 and it was somewhat of a bittersweet day. Although it's exciting for all my close friends to become counselors, I will truly miss my store sistas that I have grown so close to over the past 7 weeks. Today, the store was very calm which was a nice break. However, I know that tomorrow's opening day is going to be rough, Alana may never admit it but I can see it in her eyes. She's not one to freak out but I know deep in her heart she's screaming bloody murder.
After the session ended I helped moved Brooke and Hannah in to their new cabins. Conveniently, their cabins were located on opposite sides of the camp....sweat is the new make up.
Hours passed and I though that I was never going to get my day off but we finally got things together and hit the road to hot springs.
Made it to the Wash N Go with all the other 200 staff members of Ozark and mingled and joked around for a good 10 minutes before I realized I was there to do laundry. Then a scene was created when i had to ask how to work the washer machines..of course. By now, most people who have Been here since 1 are used to my obliviousness of the world around me. After getting clothes rinsed, talking to friends, getting awkwardly macked on by awkward Justin, and clothes dried, I headed to hibachi. Like always, everyone couldn't resist and followed me there..ok ok, maybe I'm a little conceited.. Haha
But dinner was nice and then me and brooke took a what was suppose to be a quick trip to Wally world that ended up being an hour an a half. But on the upside I got some cool rings for only a dollar, an don't forget the animal silly bands!
Anyway it's been a long and tiring day but I'm finally in my comfortable bed getting cooled down by Katrina and Rita (my two fans)...oh and by comfortable, I mean by ozark standards.
Peace and blessings
